Thank you for your interest in this commission!

The "Composer Spotlight" is on young and talented composer, Benjamin Horne!

Here are some details on the project straight from Mr. Horne.

"I am thrilled to announce a new consortium! This project will be for a new work for Euphonium, Tuba, and Fixed Media. The theme of this work will be centered on police brutality and racism evoking scenes of recent history. If you are interested in joining this consortium, the buy-in is $75 per person. Furthermore, this consortium is not only an introduction for a new piece in the repertoire, it is also a fundraiser. If this consortium reaches a minimum of 25 participants, 30% of the proceeds will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative.

The Equal Justice Initiative is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society."
